Chennai: Chennai Airport Police are planning to issue summons to former Kerala Minister P J Joseph for interrogation after actress and television anchor Lakshmi Gopakumar lodged a formal complaint with them yesterday allegeing sexual harassment by the Minister while on board a flight from Chennai to Kochi recently.
Lakshmi Gopakumar had alleged that she was a victim of harassment and sexual advances by former Minister P J Joseph of the LDF government in Kerala while on board in the Kingfisher Airlines on 3 August to Kochi.
Sources say the manager of the Kingfisher Airlines would be interrogated by the police first. Afterwards, those who occupied the front and neighbouring seats of Lakshmi's would be issued summons for enquiry into this incident.
