Dubai: With a rise in the number of passengers flying between India and UAE, Etihad Airways, the Emirates' national airline is planning flights to more Indian cities, including Kochi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata by next year.
"If everything goes well, we may start operating regular flights to Kochi from next year," Raymond Korban, regional general manager of Etihad Airways (UAE and Oman) said.
"We have major plans for the Indian sector. Apart from Kochi, the airline may consider adding Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai and Kolkata to its destinations in future," Korban said.
