Kanpur: She is just eleven years’ old, with a dream to become a pilot in the Indian Air Force. But this gutsy girl is not just a dreamer.
She is busy developing her fourth aircraft model, which can perform aerobatics by remote control.
Sakshi Vidyarthi claimed that her new aircraft model, operated through remote control, was 98 per cent ready and would be ready for flying in a few days.
Sakshi shared her dreams with Hindustan Times and said that her aim was to become an Indian Air Force pilot.
After obtaining her engineering degree in aviation and aeronautics, she would put in her best efforts to be part of the IAF flying branch.
A student of class seven with Kendriya Vidyalay (II) Chakeri, Sakshi likes science and English best. Her role model is famous NASA scientist late Kalpana Chawala.
Sakshi gives credit for her foray in aero modelling to her father MC Vidyarthi, a captain with 3 UP NCC (air), working as flight instructor. He is an aeronautical engineer from IIT Kanpur.
