MP hints to Jabalpur - Mumbai air link

Jabalpur: Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh has hinted at a strong possibility of domestic flight service between Jabalpur and Mumbai becoming a reality soon.
After extensive interaction with heads of security organisation and main industries and traders of the city, Singh is making efforts to persuade several private airlines to add the Jabalpur-Mumbai route to their service network. MP Rakesh Singh informs that he is in constant touch with Air Deccan and other private airliners and is discussing the commercial aspects of starting flight service directly to Mumbai or Via Indore or Nagpur. Singh said that officials working in the government security organisations and factories as well as the business segment of the city are facing lot of problems due to absence of flight facility to Mumbai.
