Chennai: Passengers of a Lufthansa airlines Boeing flight were offloaded, after the plane, which was ready to leave for Frankfurt, developed a technical fault, early on Thursday morning.
All the 185 passengers were later put up in various hotels in the city, airport sources said.
The passengers had boarded the flight that was to leave at 1.45 am, but soon the pilot reported a technical fault. The passengers were then asked to alight.
