New Delhi: Three militants of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), an outlawed separatist outfit from Manipur, were arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Wednesday.
The three, identified as Jayant Kumar, Ghanshyam Kumar and Shyam Kumar Singh, were reportedly travelling to Kathmandu, on forged documents.
They were arrested by the Delhi Police with assistance from the Intelligence Bureau.
Significantly, the arrest comes at a time when Delhi and several other airports in northern parts of the country have been put on a high alert following intelligence inputs that Pakistan-based terrorists may attempt to hijack an aircraft.
