Panjim: Russia-based Transaero Airlines has operated first international scheduled flight on Thursday from Moscow to Goa.
Transaero will operate on regular schedule round the year from Moscow and St Petersburg.
This will enable tourist and passengers from Goa, to fly from Goa to Moscow and connecting to Europe and Canada. Currently they are operating Boeing 767 aircraft and in anticipation of high load of passengers they will operate Boeing 747 jumbo from December 30.
Transaero has appointed Minar Travels India Pvt Ltd as its GSA for Goa as well as its Managing Director as “Representative–India”.
