Within a year-and-a-half of successful operations to India, Air Arabia made its inaugural flight to Chennai on November 2, 2006. The airline has commenced daily flights to Chennai.
Air Arabia's CEO, Adel Ali, led a delegation of senior dignitaries from the UAE on the first flight.
Air Arabia Flight 475 departs from Sharjah at 10.05 p.m. to arrive in Chennai at 4.30 a.m. Flight 476 departs from Chennai at 5.15 a.m. to arrive in Sharjah at 7.40 a.m. All timings are local.Air Arabia has announced fares for the Chennai-Sharjah route starting at around Rs 3,900, exclusive of taxes and surcharges.
Booking and availing of the tickets for Air Arabia is made much easier through www.airarabia.com. Air Arabia also offers visa assistance with a one-day halt for Sharjah and beyond. Air Arabia offers a direct online link with UAE immigration.
