Bangalore: Air Deccan has won “the Best Domestic No Frills Carrier” award instituted by the Galileo Express Travel Awards 2006.
Captain G R Gopinath, Managing Director of Air Deccan at a ceremony held in New Delhi on Friday, received the award.
The award is an encouragement for Air Deccan’s pioneering efforts in making air travel more affordable and accessible than ever before', Gopinath said.
The Galileo Express Travel World Awards 2006 is instituted by Express Travel World and Business Magazine from the Indian Express Group and their Industry partner Galileo India.
