Mumbai: Air-India has signed a Letter of Intent with Montrose Global Capial LLC for dry lease of three aircraft as the state-run carrier plans to ramp up its operations for the busy summer season next year.
The LoI with Montrose is for dry lease of three Boeing 747-400 aircraft, a top airline official said.
The aircraft would join A-I fleet in February and March next year, he said.
Air-India has also decided to take one 767-300 ER aircraft on wet lease from Globespan Airways UK.
"This aircraft would be used on Mumbai-Delhi-Bangkok and Mumbai-Delhi-Kuala Lampur route," he said, adding the aircraft would start operations starting from November 22.
