The Minister of Communications, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri KernaDato Seri Setia Awang Abu Bakar Apong, yesterday concluded a five-day working visit to India by making a courtesy call on his Indian counterpart, Dr Shakeel Ahmed, the Minister of State from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Brunei's Ministry of Communications and India's Ministry of Civil Aviation are looking to expand bilateral air services agreements to allow designated national airlines of both countries to fly to and land at main cities with the main aim of promoting tourism. This will certainly open up gateways for further strengthening Brunei India relations through aviation travel, transportation and harnessing communications and IT opportunities.
