The second annual e-conference on airline e-ticketing opened here yesterday at Golden Tulip Hotel.
Oman Air, flag carrier of the Sultanate is co-hosting the two-day (November 8-9) event. The e-conference is organised by the US-based Airline Information (AI) and German consulting firm Airline Solutions.
The conference will continue to establish standards and techniques for the next generation of airline ticketing, distribution and commerce that the first e-conference started in Frankfurt last year.
The conference will cover the synergy of all e-related topics, and provide workable solutions to airlines needing to make up valuable ground with the rest of the industry.
Presenters at the e-conference are: the CEO of Oman Air, the secretary-general of the Arab Air Carriers Association, CIO of Royal Jordanian Airlines along with other senior executives from Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Qatar Airways, and key technology suppliers in the airline industry.
