Bangalore: The February 2007 edition of the biennial Aero India show, to be held in Bangalore, will be professionally handled with Farnborough International Limited the handlers of the Farnborough International Air Show and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) being given the charge to run it.
Aero India 2007, India's sixth international aerospace and defence exhibition, will be held between February 7 and 11, 2007, at the Yelahanka Air Force base in Bangalore.
Farnborough International Airshow, billed as one of the best in the world, has had 43 editions and the ministry of defence's aim is to inch towards that quality of air show, sources told TOI.
There will be over 60 aircraft from countries like the US, UK, Canada, France, apart from India, participating in the flight display at the aeroshow that is expected to be a 'power' event. The Americans are expected to fly either the F-16s or F-18s at Yelahanka.
