Jharkhand governor Syed Sibte Razi was shocked when a helicopter requested by him for attending a function was used by two state ministers instead.
Razi was to attend a function at a university in Hazaribagh Tuesday. Accordingly, the Raj Bhavan asked the chief minister's office for a chopper Monday.
When Razi was preparing to leave for Hazaribagh at 10.30 a.m. Tuesday, his office was informed that the chopper could not be freed since the chief minister had to visit his home constituency at noon.
But it was found that two ministers - Bandhu Tirkey and Kamlesh Singh - flew in the chopper to Palamu district. They returned to the capital at noon after which the chief minister went to his home constituency.
Not too happy with the affront, the governor later travelled by road.
