A direct new air route between the city of Tripoli and the Italian city of Milan was inaugurated Saturday with two flights per week on Saturday and Tuesday.
The Libyan Airlines Company has inaugurated this new air route with the arrival of one of its airliner to Milan airport, with a Libyan delegation on board, which included Deputy Chairman of the Board, Director of External Areas, Director of Marketing Department, Director of Transport Department at the Company and a group of people's activists.
The Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Libyan Airlines Company, affirmed that opening this air route was a serious step in promoting existing friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries , indicating that the company plans to widen its flights' network to cover India, China and America in order to open communication doors with all countries of the world.
