Kozhikode: The new international terminal at Karipur airport near here will be declared open on January 15, a top official has said.
More foreign airlines will be allowed to operate from the airport to enable availability of additional services, airport director A Veerasamy told reporters here yesterday.
Noting that the check-in immigration counters would be doubled soon, Veerasamy said with the launch of the new international terminal, passenger traffic was expected to go up considerably as four flights could land and depart at the same time.
