SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has selected Kale Consultants` APEX as a neutral fare proration (NFP) engine for IATA`s first & final (F&F) billing service.
NFP forms the core of the first & final interline billing service, launched by IATA. APEX has been selected by International Air Transport Association (IATA) as one of the two suppliers for their neutral fare proration service to airlines.
APEX helps the airlines to simplify complicated itinerary pricing, determine sector revenue and calculate accurate profitability.
Recently, the company announced, along with IATA, that they will work together for the purpose of promoting e-freight in India. The company announced this on Dec. 5, 2006.
The company will act as the nodal agency to co-ordinate activities required to implement e-freight in India.
