Mumbai:The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad was deployed after an unclaimed bag was found near the counter of a private airline at the domestic airport on Monday, but there were no suspicious articles in it.
An unclaimed lady's handbag was found near the Jet Airways counter in terminal IB at around 1815 hours by a passenger who informed the authorities, a CISF official said.
The area was cordoned off and the bomb disposal squad pressed into service to examine the contents of the bag.
However, no suspicious articles were found in it and operations in the area were restored, he said
