In further recognition of India as a key market with opportunities for new ventures and growth, Bombardier has appointed Srinivas Duvvuri as its Vice President & Chief Country Representative, India.
Mr. Duvvuri is based in New Delhi and will represent Bombardier as an integrated Transportation and Aerospace group in India. Until recently, Srinivas was the Area Director – South Asia for United Technologies International Operations, India.
Bombardier Transportation, which continues to be headed in India by Mr. Rajeev Jyoti, has been present in India for over 35 years. It has supplied Indian railways with technologically advanced rail products, such as the WAP5 and WAG9 electric locomotives for passenger and freight applications and the Mumbai Traffic Management System. This system controls the 60-km rail stretch around Mumbai – one of the world’s heaviest rail commuter traffics – on which the Western Railways runs on time and with safety the impressive number of 1,000 trains everyday.
