DS Constructions Ltd., a pioneer in PPP infrastructure development and engineering construction in India, today announced that it has tied up with Flughafen Munchen GmbH (FMG) - Munich Airport International, which is ranked as the World’s No. 3 Airport, to bid for the restructuring & modernisation of Airports announced by the Government of India. Under the agreement, the consortium, under the name of ‘Indian Gateway Airports’, will jointly participate in the bidding for the Airports that have been identified by the Government of India. The consortium will form a Special Purpose Vehicle to undertake the work on the project, if awarded. DSCL will be the lead member of the consortium holding an 80% stake, while the balance 20% will be held by FMG.
FMG besides doing the master planning will provide the services related to Management and Operations and the related Aeronautical and Non - Aeronautical Services and Environment Management while DSCL will be responsible for Infrastructure Development and Construction.
