Mumbai: Taiwanese airline EVA Air, which earlier operated freighters from Mumbai, is planning scheduled passenger flights to Taipei, Taiwan from Mumbai starting Monday. The new non-stop service will be thrice a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays using B747 combis.
Taj SATS Air Catering, a JV between Indian Hotels, which operates the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS), has acquired the catering contract for serving in-flights meals for EVA Air from Mumbai for its outbound passengers.
