New Delhi: The fourth edition of the annual Galileo-Express TravelWorld Awards 2006, held on November 24 in New Delhi experienced a resounding success both in terms of entries (nominations) received as well as the attendance at the awards ceremony, at the Nandiya Garden, ITC Maurya Sheraton. This year 257 entries were received across all award categories as compared to 106 entries last year.

Best Domestic Full Service Carrier-Jet Airways, Best Domestic Low Cost Carrier-Air Deccan, Best East-Bound Airline from India-Singapore Airlines, Best West-Bound Airline from India- Air India, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative- Air India, Editors Choice Award- KingfisherAirlines
