Imphal: During his visit to Manipur and in the preceding weeks, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held intensive consultations with the Chief Minister on the projects that could be taken up for the development of the state.
Based on the discussions, many projects are being announced for implementation in the near future.
The installation of night landing facilities at Imphal Airport is one of them.
The Civil Aviation Department will be asked to begin work on installing night landing facilities at Imphal Airport, said the PM.
