New Delhi: As it is the season for weddings as well as fog, it’s hardly surprising that many of those stranded at Delhi airport today were newlyweds and relatives.
With the wedding season at its peak, the delays and cancellations of outgoing and incoming flights has given passengers anxious moments.
It was not just weddings that were affected by the fog; honeymoon plans were disrupted as well. There were angry passengers shouting at the staff at all airline counters but it was the counters of budget airlines that saw the most chaos.
Though the staff at all airline counters said every passenger had been informed through SMS about the delays and cancellations, many passengers said this was not so.
