Kolkata: Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), in collaboration with the Aeronautical Society of India, is organising an exhibition on Space and Aviation from December 13 to 16 for students and visitors.
The exhibition will be open from 11 am to 4 pm.
Various institutes, including the Indian Space Research Organisation, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Air India, Defence Academy, Indian Meteorological Department, Airports Authority of India and Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, will be participating in the exhibition. Models and replicas of different fighter planes, jet propulsion engine, aircraft and missiles will ne exhibited.
The director said that the entry to the exhibition will be free and this is an opportunity for students to interact directly with professionals from the industry. Students can also attend career counselling sessions on aviation.
