Viva Macau plans to fly to India from 2007

Macau, China: Viva Macau, a low cost regional air carrier headquartered in Macau, will begin operating on December 16 with a flight to Phuket, in Southern Thailand, the company said.
In a press conference held Thursday in Macau, Andrew Pyne, the chief executive of the new airline, said that Jakarta would be the company’s second destination and that on December 21 flights would begin to Male, the capital of the Maldives.
From 2007 Viva Macau plans to increase its fleet and, Pyne said, “open up new routes,” which could include Japan, Australia, the Middle East and India. In the future, Viva Macau wants to establish links to European cities.
Viva Macau, which has two Boeing aircraft – one 767-200ER and one 7767-300 – with a respective capacity of 208 and 245 passengers, offers two classes – Super Star and Star.
