Bangalore: Low-cost airline Air Deccan, as part of the "Makar Sankranti" bonanza, has announced the release of three lakh tickets at Rs 7 (plus taxes) available for travel in February and March 2007 across all sectors.
The booking will open on January 14, at 0800 am, it said in a statement.
Capt G R Gopinath, Managing Director Air Deccan, said "Stimulation of spontaneous and impromptu travel is the basic idea behind releasing tickets at such low fares. We want to even out the difference between peak and non-peak travel seasons. Travellers should be able to get low fares whenever they want and not only in off seasons."
