Air traffic was affected on Monday at the N S C Bose International airport in Kolkata due to dense fog for the second consecutive day.
Airport sources said the thick blanket of fog affected air traffic to and from Kolkata for about four hours in the morning.
A Spice Jet flight to Hyderabad was the last one to take off from the city at 6:10 am (IST), airlines sources said.
Among international flights, Air India's plane from Jeddah with Haj pilgrims had to be diverted to Nagpur.
The clearance for the operation of flights was obtained after 10:00 am as the weather conditions improved.
