Mumbai: The Indian aviation industry would create 40 lakh jobs in the next 10 years, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel here on Saturday.
After IT, ITeS and Telecom, the aviation industry would be the growth area that would give lot of opportunities for youngsters, he said.
Patel was in the city to accept Rotary's "Super Achiever Excellence Award" for opening up the Indian civil aviation sector.
The Government has realised that it alone cannot to do everything for making India a prosperous country, he said. So, it has embraced the concept of public-private partnership, he said.
