New Delhi: Over the reported terror alert sounded at the airports across the country, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which is in charge of the airport security in the country, termed it as a "normal one" and denied having received any fresh inputs from the Intelligence Bureau about any planned hijack by some Kashmiri militant group.
CISF official has asked the passengers "not to get paranoid" and that the hijack reports are "baseless".
Sources in the CISF said they did not receive any such inputs from the IB in the last three days and that the 'notification' reported in the media was ten-day old, which is a routine alert made just around the New Year eve.
However, people who regularly travelled by air felt that they had to experience some strict security checking at the airport and also added it was nothing 'unprecedented'.
