New Delhi: Wednesday was the third consecutive day of flights to and from Delhi being disrupted by fog.
However, the sky cleared up early on Wednesday and the visibility at Delhi airport has improved, climbing above 1800 metres. Most flights, which were delayed or rescheduled, are now taking off.

New Delhi: Flight operations at Delhi
airport were affected for much of
Tuesday due to poor visibility.
Airport authorities said Low Visibility
Procedures were enforced from
8-42 p.m. on Monday to 1-26 p.m.
on Tuesday. A total of 430 flights
operated during this period, of which
134 operated past midnight. Of the
flights departing from Delhi on
Tuesday, 11 domestic and four
international had to be rescheduled.
The domestic flights were the worst
hit by the fog, as 36 arrivals and 50
departures had to be cancelled on
Tuesday. One international arrival
and one departure were also cancelled.

Three International flights have managed to land safely and one domestic flight has taken off in the last couple of hours.
Air Deccan's Delhi-Bangalore flight DN 670, Mumbai-Delhi DN 660 and Indigo's Delhi-Jaipur have been cancelled. Seven international and 15 domestic flights have been diverted.
