A 70-year-old man returning from Hajj in Saudi Arabia died of a suspected heart attack at Dubai Airport, sources said yesterday. Mohammad Kunhi who was in transit to India was waiting at terminal one of the airport when he collapsed and died on Saturday afternoon.
He was due to meet up with his son in the terminal and the two had decided to return to India together on the same flight. Despite immediate medical attention at the airport, Kunhi could not be revived.
He leaves behind two sons and his wife in India. The family is waiting for clearance from Dubai authorities to have the body returned to India to allow a funeral to be held.
