New Delhi: With fog playing havoc with flight schedules in Delhi, irate passengers have been complaining about the lack of information by airlines about delays.
Forget calling passengers about changing schedules, airlines did not provide updates, even at the airport.
In fact in the customer care services have been of little help.
"None of the fog helplines are working. The numbers are constantly engaged. What is the use of this kind of service?" said one traveller.
In fact, in the last few days, as people waited endlessly in the cold both inside and outside airport, there were no arrangements for delays and the brunt of this was borne by people like 83-year-old Susheela, who waited four hours for her daughter to arrive from Hyderabad.
Yet again Delhi has faced the problems of fog and with it the same set of issues, but delayed reaction by airlines has shown that many of them appeared to be overwhelmed and unable to cope with the chaos.
