New Delhi: Delhi is not the only city that is facing the brunt of fog delays.
Flights taking off at the Bangalore airport were delayed on Saturday morning because of poor visibility.
Airline sources also say that flight delays and diversions were more likely in these conditions as there is a lack of approach lights on the runway that brings down visibility.
Air Deccan rescheduled 15 of its flights while seven of Jet Airways’ were affected. Air Sahara’s morning flight from Hyderabad and Jet Airways’ morning flights from Chennai returned to their original terminals.
