Patna: Yet another controversy hit the Air Deccan airlines when reports suggested that a passenger on a Delhi-bound flight was not allowed to travel even after his boarding pass and tickets were issued.
Air Deccan has claimed that the passenger was not allowed to travel on the flight as he had reported late at the airport.
However, the passenger has alleged that he was forcibly taken off the plane in a bid to pave way for a VIP passenger. The boy had to travel to Delhi to see his ailing mother.
He was detained in the high security zone for about an hour without being given any reason. Later, the employer of the victim demanded an explanation from the Air Deccan authorities who tried to hush up the matter by saying that the passenger was not allowed to travel due to late reporting.
