Mumbai: Investigations into the suicide of Marilyn Duston (52) has revealed that she had written a letter to someone called Mike right before her death. Duston, an air hostess with Delta Airlines, was found dead in her room at Taj Mahal Hotel on Wednesday night.
According to the Colaba police, Duston had written six letters but tore five of them, leaving behind only one letter addressed to her 80-year-old mother. The contents of the previous letters were revealed when the torn pieces were put together by the police. One letter was addressed to someone called Mike and had two lines scribbled on it.
In one of the torn letters, Duston has written only one word— ‘airline’. Meanwhile, Duston’s body has been sent to her native Ohio through the US consulate.
