Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has ordered the Maharashtra Private Security Guards Board to hold an inquiry into the appointment of over 200 private guards at the international airport here.
The board was asked by the court to file a reply within four weeks.
The order, passed yesterday by a division bench of Justices J N Patel and S C Dharmadhikari, came during the hearing of a petition filed by the Krantikari Suraksha Rakshak Sanghatana (KSRS).
The KSRs moved the High Court against the sacking of nine private security guards from the Mumbai International Airport in 2002.
