Amritsar: Veteran journalist and former member of the Rajya Sabha Kuldip Nayar said on Tuesday that he was not allowed to board an Amritsar-Delhi Jet Airways flight despite having a confirmed ticket. Nayar said he had a confirmed ticket for the flight to Delhi on Sunday night but his name did not figure in the passenger's list. He had had arrived here from Lahore.
On his protest, he was taken to the departure lounge and was given the boarding ticket by the airline officials.
Later, the manager of the Jet Airways said that his ticket had been confirmed, Nayar said.
However, later when he was escorted to the security area of the airport, the manager told him that the flight had already taken off and he could not be accommodated.
