BSP MP slams UP govt for scrapping Jewar airport project

Greater Noida: A Bahujan Samaj Party MP today slammed the ruling Samajwadi Party in the state for scrapping the ambitious Jewar Airport project, saying the project would be revived whenever his party returned to power.
"The project was scrapped by Uttar Pradesh government and in a recent board meeting Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority excluded the project from its Master plan 2031," Gautam Buddha Nagar MP Surinder Singh Nagar told PTI.
Both Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities have sold their properties highlighting the airport project, he said adding, "I am writing to UP Chief Minister to reconsider the Jewar airport project."
