Bhubaneswar: Biju Patnaik airport authorities in collaboration with Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) will launch a 'golden triangle tour programme' for the benefit of tourists on a pilot basis in the first week of June.
Under the programme, a tour package will cover the golden triangle circuit of Bhubaneswar-Puri-Konark. A dedicated air-conditioned bus of the tourism development corporation will be stationed at the airport to pick up tourists. Passengers will be informed about the destinations and the facilities being provided on their respective flights.
"I have sent the details of the tour package and timings of the trip to the airport director. This will be a hassle-free and economic trip as we are providing guide service, lunch and entry fees for visiting tourist spots," said OTDC general manager M R Patnaik.
