Pilot-passenger fracas delays flight

Kolkata: A SpiceJet flight to Bengaluru was held up for an hour and 45 minutes on Tuesday evening following an altercation between pilots and passengers.
The flight had rolled into the runway at 4.45pm when vociferous protests by passenger Vikas Jajodia about the poor air-conditioning in the plane led to an angry exchange of words between the pilots and the passenger. The captain then decided to offload Jajodia, but he refused to get down. Even other passengers disagreed with the captain. The incensed captain then decided to offload Jajodia, turned the plane around and returned to the parking bay. When the passenger was ordered to get off the aircraft, he refused. Other passengers too disagreed with the captain's decision.
