HC accepts KfA pilots’ pleas on dues

Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court admitted four out of five petitions filed by employees of grounded carrier Kingfisher Airlines (KfA) to implead in five ongoing winding up petitions against the debt-laden company.
Unpaid for nearly one year, 93 Bangalore-based employees filed a petition that will now be impleading KfA into all proceedings of the cases as respondents. The court granted the fifth lawyer time to file objections. It observed that the first preference is the disbursal of salaries to employees of the carrier.
