NCR man arrested for carrying bullets in luggage at Aurangabad airport

Aurangabad:  The MIDCCidco police on Friday arrested SundarBaidansinghYadav, a 42-year-old property dealer from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for carrying eight bullets in his baggage without declaring them to the airport authorities. The bullets were recovered from him in the baggage scan at the Aurangabad airport, when he was about to board a Delhi-bound flight. He has been booked under the Arms Act.
Yadav hails from Dadri in the Gautambudh Nagar area of the National Capital Region.
"Yadav is a property dealer and claims to have procured an arms licence just two months back. He travelled by train to Shirdi from Delhi on July 9 and reached Aurangabad on July 12. He was about to board a Delhi-bound flight when one of its staff members, Vijay Ahire, who was at the scanner, spotted bullets in one of his bags," said investigation officer and sub-inspector NS Gandhare.
