Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Tuesday has decided to provide Rs 50 crore to the Air Port Authority of India (AAI) to facilitate development of the oldest Jharsuguda Airport.
According to official sources, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik sanctioned the funds following a proposal from the AAI authorities for undertaking the first phase of construction of the strategic air-strip, which had been laid by the British.
