Bomb threat evacuation drill held at Nagpur airport

Nagpur: A bomb threat evacuation drill was carried out at Dr BabasahebAmbedkar International Airport, Nagpur, on Thursday afternoon. The drill aimed at training airport employees to react swiftly during a bomb threat is carried out annually.
The approximately 20 minute drill was carried out on Thursday afternoon between 2.30 and 3pm in the main airport terminal building. All agencies involved in running the airport, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), MIHAN India Limited (MIL), airline staff, the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) etc were part of the drill. Also, police, dog squad and bomb disposal squads were also summoned for the drill.
