KFA employees hopeful after court orders payments of dues to 3

New Delhi: Is there some real time hope for the Kingfisher employees and ex employees to recover their rightful dues from the company? The recent judgement of the Delhi High Court ordering the company to pay the dues to three of its ex pilots, who had moved the court, has certainly given hope to many.
Headlines Today had a word with many present and ex employees over the phone. Philausy Paul an ex KFA engineer from Kolkata now associated with an audit firm says he sees some hope after the judgment and is contemplating approaching the court. Philausy says, "These chaps need to be taught a lesson "... Back home in Delhi, Headlines Today met Anjan Deveshawar a senior engineer with KFA and a front runner for the KFA employees' issues for quite some time.
Anjan hasn't received his salary since July 2012. His dues with the company now stand at around 48 lakh. Multiple applications, requests, letters to the management did not result in any good and there was just the wait of anticipation. But now buoyed by the recent judgement of the Delhi High Court Anjan has decided to approach the court...He says that the judgement of the court has given many present and ex employees a ray of hope and that the landmark judgement will give some life to the employees.." See this is not just about one or two pilots....there are at least 50 engineers still in the payroll of KFA who have their dues with the company running into lakhs...additionally there would be nearly 100 pilots in the same state," says Anjan.
