Gold biscuits worth Rs 2 cr seized in Chennai airport

Chennai: Gold biscuits worth Rs two crore allegedly being smuggled have been seized from a passenger who arrived from Singapore at the airport here.
The gold, totally weighing six kg, was recovered by Customs Air-Intelligence unit sleuths in the baggage of 24-year old Fairose Khan of Pudukottai in Tamil Nadu, who arrived here last night, airport officials said today.
