Tyre of Mumbai-bound AI flight detected flat minutes before take off

Indore: Mumbai-bound Air India flight AI 636 was delayed by about one hour after the tyre of its rear wheel was detected flat minutes before take off at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport at 7.50pm on Saturday. The flight landed from Delhi around 7.30pm and was to take off for Mumbai in another 35 minutes at 8.05pm.

Delhi-Indore-Mumbai Air India flight, which was just 15 minutes from take off, had 120 passengers lined-up for boarding the bus to the aircraft. However, the technical team, which was schedule-checking, detected the flat tyre. Airport officials were informed about it, who got the tyre replaced, which in turn delayed the flight by about an hour.
