Vishakhapatnam: A naval officer’s daughter was detained by the airport zone police after the CISF personnel found a bullet in her purse during scanning of her baggage at the Visakhapatnam International Airport on Sunday.
Police said Gurupreet Kaur, 22, who works in a private firm in Pune and daughter of a senior sailor posted at INS Karanja in Mumbai, arrived here on August 15 to try her luck for a better job. After her arrival, she checked into a hotel. She was detained before boarding an Indigo flight to Mumbai.
