Mumbai-bound flight cancelled; passengers create ruckus at Indore airport

Bhopal/Indore:  Mumbai-bound passengers of Air India (AI) flight AI636 created ruckus at Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport Indore on Friday evening after a technical snag left them stranded for over three hours before cancellation of the flight.

Passengers had altercation with the crew and the CISF personnel at the airport in commercial hub of Madhya Pradesh.

The flight, that was supposed to take off at 8.05 pm, had around 100 passengers with connecting flights to Bangkok and Goa on Saturday morning.
The technical team, which was schedule-checking, detected the snag in the front wheel. First an announcement was made that the flight will take off 20-minutes late than its scheduled departure.
